I got my Titan remote and was glad for it but the current design assumes you will be operating it in your hand. I found the handheld remote a little clumsy to use as you fumble around grabbing it out of a pocket during a drill. My first DIY attempt for proof of concept was to simply use velcro and stick it to a watchband. It became immediately obvious that a wearable wrist remote was much easier to operate while playing a drill while not interfering with my play. I know competitors have a Smart watch app that come with their mobile apps but for lack of foresight Titan has not yet come out with the Smart watch app and opted instead to have a handheld remote. So while we all wait for the Watch app with our fingers crossed I have this Wearable Case for a workaround.
I brainstormed a little bit with my Mechanical Engineer nephew and came out with a prototype. I reuse all the internal electronics, screws, etc and remount them in the wearable case. I bought an over-the-counter 26mm wrist strap for a Garmin Fenix because I prefer the hook & loop style. I am trying out other styles as well that use the traditional standard buckle.
Here is the prototype of a 3D printed Wearable Wrist Case for the Titan Remote. This allows for immediate and easy triggering of the remote to pause/start the Titan. Still doing some final tweaks on the button face which is kind of stealthy and blends into the case to have a more tactical feel with grooves. I am planning to upload the CAD file on the Facebook Titan Pickleball Machine Owners facebook group if they unlock the file sharing so that anyone with a Titan Remote can print it out using a local 3D print shop.

UPDATE 12/3/24: The next prototype is coming out. Kyle Potter suggested using contrasting Titan colors - I LOVE THIS. So I think using a neon green for the back cover will give it a thin band of neon when viewed from the side. And a neon green button might look best in a black case or how about a more subdued look with a grey button?
UPDATE 12/10/24: We have the latest tweaks done and testing is over. Originally I was reusing the hardware from the original Remote in this wearable case however the case screw wasn't quite working properly. The screw was a little short and could easily strip out of the plastic case hole. So we ended up needing to order brass inserts just like what is on the original remote and slightly longer screws. This latest version uses two new longer screws that seat into new brass inserts to secure the back case cover. So now unfortunately, this latest version takes the option out for getting it printed by your 3D Print shop to make for you. So if you want one of these reach out to Nick Warin via facebook messenger. Or I could answer questions on facebook Titan Pickleball Machine Owners group.
