My Titan ACE holds 225 pickleballs! Read on to see an easy DIY project. I am modifying a Titan ONE ball extension to work on the ACE.
This option is SUPER easy! Big shout out to Kyle Potter who suggested turning the soft body hopper extension inside-out so no need to remove and resew the velcro straps. It works very well and looks good too. I ended up not being able to use the nice cover so I also flipped the hopper extension with the cover zipper down into the ACE hopper and zippered in the hard oval ring to give the top rigidity and maintain a clean shape plus the ring sets on top the handle to keep it looking custom. (See photo of velcro straps on the inside secured to the handle.)
PROS: Works right out of the box without the need to modify the velcro straps for the handle.
CONS: The nice top cover won't zip on with it inside-out. The outside material is more robust than the inside material so reversing it makes it slightly less durable. If you want to use the top cover you will need to use the option below and relocate the straps to the inside by re-sewing them.
My final plan is to use a seam ripper to remove the two outside velcro straps that secure to the outside Titan ONE telescoping handle and sewing them to the inside of the hopper so it will work for the ACE handle location. Then I will tape a short strip of velcro to the outside of the bag below the lip of the ACE hopper. These will mate up with a matching velcro that is glued to the inside ACE hopper wall. Overall it's a pretty simple modification that will match great with the ACE since it's got Titan branding on the zipper lid.
